What Majali is
Majali is the real estate CRM and back office for a property agency, wherever it works. Your team works in one admin, in English or Arabic, and everything your website shows comes from the same place.
The lines of business
Majali follows the way agencies are organised. Each line has its own section in the admin, and a company uses the ones it needs:
| Line | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Sales and leasing | Listings with their permits and photos, enquiries from your website, contacts, deals in pipelines, viewings and follow-ups |
| Holiday homes | The calendar, booking requests from your website, quotes with fees, payment after you confirm, and a guest space |
| Property management | Owners, leases with their payment schedules and cheques, rent payments and owner statements |
| Maintenance | Jobs on any home, the contractors who do them, inspections and the charges that follow |
Across the lines sit Finance (every movement of money, in one place), Reports, the Team with its roles, and Settings.
Your website and your tools
Majali is built to be connected. Your website, whoever builds it, reads listings, areas and team profiles from the API and sends enquiries and booking requests straight to your admin. A CRM you already use, a helpdesk or an accounting package keeps in step through server keys and webhooks. The Developers section explains how.
Who signs in where
| Who | Where |
|---|---|
| Your staff | The admin, at <company>.cloud.majali.app |
| Staff in the field | The operations app, at <company>.operations.majali.app |
| Owners of the homes you manage | The owner space, at <company>.owners.majali.app |
| Guests of your holiday homes | The guest space, at <company>.guests.majali.app, or embedded in your website |
Each of these can also live on your own domain. See Settings.
The rules of your market
Majali is not tied to one country. What a market requires, such as an advertising permit number on a listing, lease notice periods, deposit percentages or who pays which repairs, is a setting of your company. Where a starter pack exists for your region (Abu Dhabi today), it fills those settings in when your workspace is created; you change them freely, and nothing you removed comes back.
- Two languages. Every listing, area and label has an English and an Arabic version, and the admin itself works in both.
- Your data stays yours. It is encrypted with a key that belongs to your company, kept in one region, and you can export all of it at any time. See Your data and Security.
